Oh hello!
Did you know that I'm performing at Mo Pitkins on May 29th with Clint, Michigan and Not Waving but Drowning?? Well, recognize!
And that's not all- Clint, Michigan is playing every damned Tuesday in May (except the first one)at Mo Pitkins with very special
guests every last one of 'em.
Did I mention that my frequent duet partner and longtime companion Larry Krone is the guest on May 22nd? True. AND on
that very night I will be filling in for Mason in Clint, Michigan playing accordion and maybe singing a little harmony too?
Oh, and another thing- if you haven't seen Clint, Michigan yet:
a) You're nuts
and
b) The Lord has given you four Tuesdays in May to do so. Don't anger Him!
I have a video on YouTube from my show at Mo Pitkins a few months ago.
It's a touching true story about an edgy, boundary-pushing provocateur- set to music! Have a look!
Speaking of videos, Brendan Toner's wonderful videos he made featuring The Isotoners are up on YouTube. As my supervisor
at work said, "How do I say this? You were so much..." I know, Bebe- thinner then. Yes, I had me some figure!
Hey let's talk about Larry's show at the St. Louis Contemporary. I went to the opening in September and again in October
for the Larry Krone and Family performance, "Something Beautiful." Larry's artwork looked incredibly beautiful,
his sister Janet sang her life story in a swing, and we stayed in a hotel!!! Here's a picture of me singing and playing the
beginning of Larry's gorgeous song, "Something Beautiful," in front of a world-famous Larry Krone mylar curtain
with FRAN!
